Grazia journalist Melissa Henry recently sought help from Dr Joney De Souza for the treatment of telangiectasia, the tiny veins that appear on the cheeks and nose as a characteristic of the skin condition rosacea. Keen to avoid laser treatments that could make her sensitive skin worse, Melissa turned to Dr Joney for advice as he is an expert in treating all skin types and skin concerns.
On analysing Melissa’s skin, Dr Joney found it to be sensitive and relatively thin which is why she is suffering from noticeable facial redness as a result of telangiectasia. He recommended LED red light therapy, an innovative and effective treatment that as well as tackling a number of ageing concerns, is also suitable for treating sensitive skin conditions such as acne, eczema and rosacea.
LED red light therapy is a minimally invasive procedure with not downtime and after just two sessions, Melissa saw a marked improvement to facial redness.
