Facial Spider Vein Removal in London by Dr. Joney De Souza
Telangectasia, or facial spider veins, is the term used for small red veins which are commonly referred to as red veins, dilated capillaries or broken veins. They commonly appear on the face, particularly on the cheeks and nose.
Skin tags, also known as an acrochordon, is a small tag of skin which may have a peduncle (stalk) – they look like a small piece of soft, hanging skin. They can appear on any part of the surface of the body (skin), but most typically exist in areas where skin may rub against skin.
Both conditions can be treated with Diathermy, which uses high-frequency electromagnetic currents to produce heat that is applied on the lesion. The heat produced by diathermy may be used to destroy neoplasms, warts, and infected tissues, and to cauterize blood vessels to prevent excessive bleeding.
