We are excited to announce that UltraClear is now available at Dr Joney De Souza Clinic in Marylebone, London.
UltraClear is a next-generation cold fibre laser that delivers controlled energy into the skin to stimulate renewal and collagen production. Unlike traditional resurfacing lasers, UltraClear offers adjustable treatment depths, allowing it to be customised for superficial skin refinement or deeper skin rejuvenation.
UltraClear can be used to refresh the skin’s surface, improve texture and radiance, or target more established signs of ageing, making it suitable for a wide range of patients and skin concerns.

UltraClear works by delivering precise laser energy into the skin using a controlled, cold fibre technology. This creates microthermal zones within the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response and stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Because UltraClear can be adjusted to different depths, it can gently resurface the skin’s surface or penetrate deeper layers for more significant rejuvenation, while minimising unnecessary damage to surrounding tissue.
UltraClear is designed to improve overall skin quality and address common skin concerns, including:
• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Uneven skin texture
• Sun damage and pigmentation
• Enlarged pores
• Acne scarring
• Dull or tired-looking skin
Treatment depth and intensity are adjusted during consultation to ensure results are effective while remaining appropriate for your skin.

UltraClear offers three distinct treatment solutions; UltraClear Laser, 3DMIRACL and Laser-Goring. These different treatment solutions allow our expert team at Dr Joney De Souza to tailor your rejuvenation to different skin concerns, depths and recovery preferences. Each solution works at a different level within the skin, making it possible to personalise treatment based on whether the goal is skin refreshment, deeper rejuvenation or correction of more established concerns.
3D Miracle is the most superficial UltraClear solution and is designed to refresh and revitalise the skin’s surface. It targets the outer layers of the skin to improve tone, texture and radiance, helping to smooth roughness and brighten dull or uneven skin.
The UltraClear solution works at a deeper level within the skin, stimulating collagen production while also resurfacing the skin. This approach improves overall skin quality, helping to soften fine lines, improve texture and address early signs of ageing. UltraClear is well suited to patients who want more visible rejuvenation while still maintaining a manageable recovery period. It offers a balance between skin renewal and collagen stimulation for longer-term improvement.
Laser Coring is the most advanced UltraClear solution and is designed to treat deeper skin concerns. By working within the deeper layers of the skin, Laser Coring targets more pronounced wrinkles, acne scarring and significant texture irregularities. This solution promotes intensive skin renewal and collagen remodelling, delivering more dramatic results. Due to the depth of treatment, Laser Coring involves a longer recovery period, which will be fully discussed during consultation.

UltraClear and CO2 lasers are both resurfacing treatments, but they differ significantly in how aggressively they treat the skin and the recovery involved. CO2 laser resurfacing is traditionally used for deep wrinkles and significant skin damage, delivering powerful results but with a longer and more intensive downtime. UltraClear offers a more flexible approach, with treatment depths that can be adjusted to suit different skin concerns and recovery preferences, making it suitable for patients who want effective skin renewal without the extended downtime associated with CO2 lasers. Erbium YAG lasers are often used for superficial to moderate skin resurfacing, improving texture, fine lines and pigmentation with relatively short downtime. UltraClear can achieve similar surface refinement but also offers deeper treatment options that stimulate collagen at multiple skin levels. This allows UltraClear to address both surface concerns and deeper skin quality issues within a single platform, providing a more tailored treatment plan depending on individual needs.

✓ Benefits
A gentle skin resurfacing treatment designed to refresh dull or uneven skin, improving surface texture and radiance with minimal downtime. Ideal for patients seeking a brighter, smoother complexion or those new to laser treatments, as well as for ongoing skin maintenance.
✕ Considerations
This treatment focuses on the surface layers of the skin and is not intended to address deeper wrinkles, scarring or more advanced signs of ageing. Results are subtle and best suited to skin refinement rather than correction.
✓ Benefits
A deeper resurfacing and rejuvenation treatment that improves overall skin quality by stimulating collagen while also refining texture. Suitable for softening fine lines, improving tone and achieving more noticeable skin renewal with a balance between results and recovery.
✕ Considerations
Some downtime should be expected, and results develop gradually as collagen production increases. While effective for many concerns, it is not designed to treat deep scars or pronounced wrinkles.
✓ Benefits
An advanced treatment designed to target deeper skin concerns, including pronounced wrinkles and acne scarring. Laser Coring promotes intensive collagen remodelling and delivers the most significant improvements in skin texture and structure.
✕ Considerations
This treatment involves a longer recovery period and requires careful aftercare. It may not be suitable for patients seeking minimal downtime or those unable to commit to a structured recovery phase.
